How Business Due Dates and Desert Toad Software LLC handle information in the app, through optional Apple services, on this website, and when you contact support.
1. Overview
Business Due Dates is designed as an organizational tool for business information, obligations, payments, reminders, notes, and related records. App data is stored on your device as part of normal operation unless you choose to use an eligible cloud-sync feature.
2. Information stored on your device
Information you create in the app can include business details, obligations, due dates, recurring schedules, payments, notes, reminder settings, completion history, and app preferences. This information is used to provide the app's organizational features.
3. Optional iCloud / CloudKit sync
If an eligible manual cloud-sync feature is available to you and you choose to use it, Business Due Dates uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services to synchronize eligible app data. Desert Toad Software LLC does not operate a separate account system for storing that synced content.
Cloud availability and synchronization depend on Apple services, your Apple account, network access, device settings, and the functionality provided by the app. You can choose not to use optional cloud sync.
4. Backups, exports, and imports
If you create a manual backup or export file, that file may contain supported business information and records from the app. You control where you save, copy, or share files you create. Once a file is exported or shared outside Business Due Dates, handling of that copy is your responsibility and may also be subject to the practices of the storage or sharing service you choose.
When you import a supported file, Business Due Dates reads the file you select in order to add or update supported records in the app.
5. Reminders and notifications
Business Due Dates can use iOS notification permissions for reminders you configure. Notification delivery may be affected by your device settings, permissions, Focus modes, operating-system behavior, or other factors outside our control. You can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
7. Purchases and subscriptions
If Business Due Dates offers optional paid features or subscriptions, purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Apple handles payment processing. Desert Toad Software LLC does not receive your full payment-card details from Apple.
7. Support communications
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any attachments or diagnostic details you voluntarily include. We use that information to respond to your request and provide support.
8. This website
The current Business Due Dates website does not include an account sign-in, contact form, advertising code, or third-party analytics or tracking scripts in its published source. The site itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies.
Website hosting infrastructure may process standard technical request information, such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and timestamps, as needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site.
9. Sale of personal information and advertising
Desert Toad Software LLC does not sell personal information. The current website does not include third-party advertising or tracking scripts.
10. Your choices
- You can control notification permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can choose whether to use optional cloud-sync functionality when available.
- You can edit, archive, or delete app information using the controls the app provides.
- You may contact us regarding information you voluntarily sent to support.
11. Security and data availability
No device, network, notification system, or cloud service can be guaranteed to be completely secure or continuously available. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate access controls for your device and Apple account and for independently maintaining records that are important to your business.
12. Third-party services
Apple services used by the app, including the App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, CloudKit, and iOS notification services, are governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices. Links to other websites are governed by the privacy practices of those sites.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, website, legal requirements, or data practices change. We will revise the effective or last-updated date when the policy changes.
